• Based off of Pokémon B/W part one

“So who’s going to pick first?” I asked my friends, Amy and Derek. “Well, they were delivered to your house, so I guess you should go first, Takeshi.” I looked in the package and checked the description on each of the three new pokémon. I loved water type, so as anyone could guess, I picked oshawott, no hesitation. Amy ran up to the package, pushed Derek out of the way, and snatched the tepig out of the package. “Fire type forever!” she yelled as she pocketed her first pokémon. “Well, snivy, the grass type does rule supreme over tepig and oshawott,” Derek emphasized ‘supreme over tepig’. “Let’s test that impossible theory, Derek,” Amy took out tepig, “And have our first battle here! In Takeshi’s room! Is that fine with you, I mean, it is your room,” Amy turned to me hopefully. “I’m always in the mood for entertainment,” I said merrily. The battle was amazing. In the end, Derek won with his well thought out strategy. “Now I’ll try,” I challenged Derek.
“All right, but don’t forget, grass is water’s weakness,” Once again, Derek took snivy out for battle. “Guys, the rooms a mess,” Amy said before I could take oshawott out. “I don’t care! I yelled as I took out oshawott. “Oshawott! Use tail whip!” “Snivy! Scratch!” The battle raged on for 3 minutes.
After the battle was done, Amy asked how she would fare and we battled as well. I won both battles. When we were finally done, you would think that a tornado passed through my room and was followed by a hurricane due to me using water gun numerous times. At least the fire was gone. “We should go apologize to Takeshi’s mom and thank the professor,” Derek said as he dragged us downstairs.
After we thanked the professor for the pokémon, she asked us to fill out a pokedex, showed us how to catch pokémon, and gave us 10 pokeballs each. We accepted after we finished listening to Amy complain about how she didn’t want tepig to get hurt anymore. “Does anyone want to nickname their pokémon?” the professor asked us. “I want her name to be Osha, like my grandmother,” I said sternly. “Alright, Osha it is, does anyone else want to name their pokémon?” the professor looked at Amy and Derek. Neither of them wanted to name their pokémon. “Alright, I have another gift that will also help you along the way,” the professor gave us each a pair of running shoes and we put them on. “Now go, and don’t forget, have fun!” We left the house and went to route one. “Let’s have a contest!” Amy suggested. “What kind?” I asked. “Whoever has the most pokémon, including, Osha, snivy, and tepig,” We agreed to her pitiful contest and Amy ran up to catch as many pokémon as she could. Derek followed her. I tried my best to catch pokémon, back I never could, so I went to the end with just Osha. “You failed to catch all pokémon you ran into?” Amy was surprised and won. We advanced on to the next town and ran into the professor. She showed us the ins and outs of the pokémon center. Trading booths upstairs, pokémon store to the right once your walk in, pokémon study books to the left once you walk in, healing station straight down, and pc straight down, slightly to the left.
This was a place in every town that a trainer should often visit. I noticed a deliveryman near the entrance as I was leaving. How did I miss him when I walked in? Anyway, I asked him if he was delivering the package to the champion, a gym leader, or one of the elite four members. “You must be Takeshi, are you not?” he asked. “Yes, I’m Takeshi, why?” I asked. “Because, I have a package for you?” he handed me the package he was holding. “Well, you should have just said so!” I said as I opened the package excitedly. “What’s a liberty pass?” I asked. “You’ll know when the time to use it comes<” the deliveryman disappeared when he finished talking.
“Wow, that was the weirdest thing ever, what did he want?” Amy asked. I didn’t realize that Amy was right behind me. “Well, are you done?” she asked, gesturing to the door. “Yes, but, where did Derek and the professor go?” I asked. “Their already outside, waiting for us, come on!” Amy led me outside. There was a large crown over to the left. We went over and pushed our way over to the front of the crowd where Derek and the professor where. “What’s happening?” I asked the professor. “I don’t know, there’s a strange new team going by the name of team plasma. I don’t know what they want, but I do know that they don’t what trainers and pokémon to work alongside each other. Oh, here comes the leader, let’s see what they have to say for themselves.
