"Pick a number." he told me. We were lying down on my bed, face up, under the covers. Believe it or not, it was a year later. I sat up a bit, keeping the blanket over me to cover my naked chest. "730." I said. "Why so high?" he asked. I turned to him, we still looked the same as we always did, and I never got tired of it "We've been together two years, and that's the number of days in two years." I said. He smiled "To think, one year ago, I had to nearly beg to sleep with you again, and now we're doing it nonstop!" he said, grinning. "We only do it once every two weeks. How is that nonstop?" I asked. He shrugged. I sat up, keeping the blanket to my chest. "I wonder...How do you kill an immortal?" he asked. "What do mean?" I asked. "Loki's still out there, and just waiting for the perfect moment to strike. So, how do we kill him?" he asked. "We can't." I said. "Oh well, give it some thought at least." he said. "Maybe we can eat him." I thought out loud. "Not thanks, I don't want to be a cannibal." he said, sitting up, his hair a mess. "I mean, what if I eat his soul, you eat his immortality, we both eat half his power, and we bury his body in a time space rift." I said. "Why not just put him in a time space rift?" he asked. "Oh, you can let your imagination go wild, but I can't?" I said. "Exactly! Because my imagination doesn't involve eating people." he said. "We could though." I said. "Yeah, we could." he agreed. I slipped on a bra and a black tube top. "C'mon, we have to get ready." I said. He came up from behind and grabbed my chest. "Wanna die?" I asked. "How come you let me do it when we're doing it, but not anytime else?" he asked. I finished getting dressed, and elbowed him "One answer: You don't have permission anytime else. " I said, putting a chain belt around my black skirt. He sighed and got dressed himself. Except, he made sure he continued his 'no shirt' look. "Let's go." I said. He yawned, but nodded and left the room, following me to the conferance room where all of the priests of all of the differant soul animal towns came to dicuss what to do futher on. Now, because Loki was still on the loose, the conferences came up more and more often, and more and more needed to include me. Once in the conferance room, I sat up on the highest seat. Yoichi took his place in the cat priest's seat. It took a long time, but it ended with me three days hooked up to the telepathy machine. It was similar to Xavier from X-men's machine. I went through all the minds of all the people in all of the worlds, looking for Loki. Last time, I found him near the springs, and that's where I found him again. But, this time, he talked back "I'm waiting." he said. I staggered out of the machine, and nearly fell into Yoichi's outstretched arms. "What happened?" he asked. "Waiting. Loki's waiting. He...he...wants to fight. Not now, but soon." I got out, although I was breathing heavily. The machine took a lot out of me. Yoichi picked me up "That's fine, but first, you have to rest." Yoichi said, and took me into my room. The bed was made, so I geussed they already replaced the sheets. Yoichi pulled the blanket over me. He placed his forehead above mine "Warm again. How many times is that thing gunna give you fever?" he asked. I smiled, he smiled back, kissing me softly in the cheek. "When does Loki want to fight?" he whispered in my ear. "As soon as possible." I whispered back. "We can't tell the others, they'll stop you." he whispered. I nodded "You're right. I'll be back to normal by tomarrow. I can go than." I said. "'You'? No way! We're going together, no way in hell I'm letting you go alone!" he said. I smiled at him, sat up as well as I could, whispered "Thank you." and gave him one of the most passionate kisses I've ever given him. Tomarrow...tomarrow I had to kill Loki.
