• An Introduction

The heat of the morning sun is shrouded by the fog of deception, in the mind of Celix Aran. He wakes to the sounds of mocking birds and gossiping winds. His thoughts blur while conscious, but are clear and vibrant when asleep. Celix's mid-night disruptions worry his sister, the only one he ever opens up to. Besides this at least. She is discouraged by the fact, but understands. "Total access to one's mind is not the safest venture", she tells herself, whenever she is woken by these disruptions. The yelling and cries are to painful for her to stand, so she blocks them out. It's been three years since it began, and hasn't seemed to gain a better outlook than in the beginning. In fact it's only worsened, due to certain events. Events of love, betrayal, and indifference. Things that have been locked in his heart, never to be seen or heard of again. Only to gain enemies and lose friendships. Though some relations have grown, but to the extent needed. So now he waits, alone, but not. No voice in his head telling him good or bad or wise. He is but a mere shell of his former self. Old friends question if he's alright, but believe the fake smile. He hopes the heat of the sun will once again illuminate is heart, mind and soul. But in his opinion, he's only concerned about making it through the day.
