• Chapter 4 part 1:

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Cry uttered out in pure shock as he looked at the sight in front of them. In front of them laid a metal platform that stretched out in front of them connecting to several others forming a trail. It was only wide enough for the three of them to stand side by side, and that’s if their shoulders were touching. Underneath the platform by a few feet, was water that seemed to stretch on for miles. It’s like the ocean, but the water is so still. Cry thought fighting back an unsettling feeling. “How are we supposed to fight on this!” Pewds snapped angrily stomping his foot down on the metal surface. There was a twang, as the vibrations from his stomp echoed down the path.

Above the team appeared bright green lettering. “Level one: Teams will have to make it to the main platform before time runs out.” Meeka read the first sentence. “Players will also have to battle any other teams they come across. . loosing side will be knocked down in rank and have to start the level over again.” Pewds read then scoffed “Pft doesn’t sound to hard, bet I can do it with my eyes closed.” a worried expression crossed Meeka’s face “But you might fall in the water and there’s no telling what’s in there.” She looked down into the still and dark water, she could of swore she saw something move beneath the surface but there was no ripples in the water. Must have been my imagination she thought returning her gaze to the rules.

“Any team that cannot complete the level, or falls into the water will be eliminated.” Cry finished and turned to his companions. “I don’t like the sound of that. . . “ He said trying to force the lump in his throat to go down. Pewds came over and patted him roughly on the back. “Don’t worry Cry we’ll be fine!” the last pat made Cry go forward two steps. “You’re right! We’ve played games before so how bad can this be!” Cry smiled, remembering that he was still streaming the game. I can’t let everyone see me doubt myself, I have to keep moving forward. He thought looking up at the sky, which was shining with thousands of stars.

He looked at Meeka and Pewds “Are you guys ready?” he asked, voice unwavering. “HELL YEAH!!” Pewdie shouted waving his staff in the air. Meeka just nodded tying her short hair back tightly into a pony tail, her face determined. “Alright then let’s go!” Cry yelled and took off running down the path, with Pewds and Meeka following behind closely. Their footsteps echoing loudly behind them.
