• The beat of the music echoed through the club. Ludwig sat in a corner, sipping yet another beer. He had lost count after the twelfth. Italy danced in the middle of the room. He was obviously drunk out of his mind.

"Kesese." Gilbert stumbled over, an almost empty mug in his hand, "Hallo Bruder. Glad you could make it." Ludwig tapped his finger on the table, "Why would I miss your wedding?" "You like the after party?" The albino leaned against the table, his words slurring together. "Ja.." Ludwig looked down, he hadn't approved of this wedding. "Well.. I'm going to go dance with my spouse."Prussia wobbled over to the dance floor.

Ludwig stood, walking over to the bar and sitting down on a stool, "Another beer please. The strongest you have." He placed the money in the table. "Bad day?" The bartender asked as he placed the bottle on the table. "Ja.." He grabbed the bottle and took a swig, looking back at Italy as he did. "I realized how no one cares about me." He finished his beer and stood, slightly drunk, "My brother married the one I've been in love with my whole life..." Prussia wrapped his arms around Italy, pecking his cheek.

Ludwig knocked the stool to the ground and ran out of the club. He just kept running. He didn't notice the light turn green as he ran across the road.

And that's when the van hit.
