    Chapter 2: The Plan

    Everyone stood in silence, shocked and surprised. The team didn’t know how to respond.
    Nick: I know how you all must feel, and I hate and I mean hate to even ask children to do the work of an adult. That’s the last thing I don’t even wanna do to ask of a kid. But you all faced impossible odds and did what no one could even ask you to do. But I’m asking now because of desperate times, calls for desperate situations.
    Dan: this… “Purple Man” he controls people right?
    Nick: right. He controls them by producing a kind of chemical in his body, releasing it onto it’s host when contact by skin or inhaled. However
    Dan: however…?
    Nick: if you’re skin get’s in contact or inhaled some of his chemical, those chemicals can be responded by a “voice” command
    Himiko: he speaks to the chemicals?
    Nick: his tongue allows him to speak out to them, kinda like controlling nano bots through a remote control, we countered this by using simple methods, ear plugs, sound proof helmets and using specific line communications but…. Even when having everyone to equip just simple methods, he still controls half the military and majority of SHIELD personnel, even hacking into our communication and military network lines
    Dan: but it’s the only preventable way for him to control us
    Maria: yes
    Himiko: but even so we still need to listen and hear movements in our environment we can’t just simply cut off every sound
    Nick: that’s why we created a special sound proof device to only block “specific sound” so once Purple Man tries to talk, the device will instantly block whatever his saying
    Juno: that’s really clever. And every civilian and personnel who’s not affected by the Purple Man is wearing this?
    Nick: “half” just half of the United States is wearing this ear piece
    Juno: and the deaf?
    Nick: almost untouchable. We do have some heroes who have resisted his mind control actually, even without the ear piece
    Dan: is that even possible?
    Nick: kid, will power is one of the most powerful things in the universe. It’s possible.
    But you’re not just hear to just stop the Purple Man, there’s also someone you need to rescue, someone that’s top priority that can help lead the fight
    Donavon: who could that be?
    Nick: Captain America
    Rey: C-Captain America?!
    Dan: I saw all saw on TV of his shield, or what’s left of him but no body has been recovered yet
    Nick: that’s because one of our agents undercover has discovered his unconscious body, his being kept under their observation, just locked up. Every day Purple Man would come in and try to control him, but no luck
    Dan: his a tough son of b***h
    Nick: mhm, damn right
    Himiko: but we’re outmatch sir, we have weapons to only stun, non-lethal, we don’t kill.
    Nick: we don’t need you to kill, you’re weapons are pretty affective on almost all, well…. Except for the Avengers maybe
    Dan: that’s the thing, if we run into those mind controlled Avengers, how do we even win? In fact we’d probably have to run and replan our strategies, or even so avoid them at all cost
    Nick: if that’s the case then do so, but even if you have no choice to fight there is a way to get them back
    Dan: and what’s that?
    Nick: there are two options, either you can neutralize The Purple Man, his rule and control will deactivate every one he has control of, but that option would take a lot of work. Or second, you could use this antidote we cooked up, there’s only enough for each Avenger, we were trying to mass produce these but the Purple Man beaten us to it and destroyed the entire facility and lab that was meant to cook this thing up, these are prototypes, we’ve tested only a few individuals and luckily thank god they worked.
    Dan: do these just cure them away from his influence or give them immunity?
    Nick: we haven’t worked out the immunity part yet but this does get rid of his control, but there is a possible chance he will grab a hold of them again so if he does, make sure you make them wear the sound proof devices right after you cure them
    Dan: alright….
    Juno: well…. At least there’s a solution so uh…. You guys all in?
    Himiko: if Nick his coming to us for assistance well…. This s**t is serious
    Donavon: not luck he could go to our Prime Minister and ask for international assistance, we’re a small task force but if we can handle anything then this is it
    Rey: I don’t want the entire world to be controlled by…. Some Purple Guy, so…. Sure, it’s scary as hell but as long as we have each other I’m happy to fight alongside all of you
    Dan: we might not make it back. All of you, every single one of you, do you wanna think about this first before going?
    Donavon: Dan, we’ve all thought about our futures even before joining the A.B.C. all the s**t that we’ve came across? I think we’re ready to take on any challenges that awaits us mate
    Dan: ….. well, I guess I’m in too. Alright Mr. Fury, you got your team. But I need to ask of you
    Nick: sure kid
    Dan: if we fail, if we don’t make it, can you…. Watch over our families?
    Nick: I will kid, but listen if you fail… there won’t be anyone to watch over any families
    Dan: tch, just had to make it hard huh?
    Guess failure ain’t an option
