• I walked side by side Haruhi along the beachline, the sun going down, turning the sky a bright orange color that lit up her face as we looked at each other.
A soft, gentle breeze billowed through her blouse and her short brown hair,
causing the thick layers to blow into her face.
Her brown eyes wandered around, watching one thing and then another.
The blue waters pushed up onto the sand, causing Haruhi to shake off a chill that ran down her spine.

"Haruhi..." I would turn to her and say, "Today is a fine day to walk along the beach... Wouldn't you agree?"

Haruhi would nod and continue to listen to the soft sounds of the relaxing sound of waves crashing into us.

And that's where my day dream would end, leaving me hanging and also begging for more.
When I did come out of the trance, I would think I was becoming more and more like Tamaki everyday, even though I was still Hikaru.

Haruhi was becoming more accustomed to the idea that we were there for her.
Whenever she needed help, she would hint to it, and we'd be there by her side, fighting off anything that she was afraid of.

Of course, we didn't know she was afraid of it because she would never tell us.
She would always smile, especially when she was hitting boss with her fist.

All the girls in the host club knew Haruhi was a girl now, yet, they all wanted to request her still and they enjoyed her company; always.

    "Hikaru, what's wrong?"

Kaoru entered our room where I was sitting.
I was in the desk chair, head in hands as I thought.

"Nothing Kaoru, let's get to bed."

And then late at night, I would dream sweet things and enjoy the time I had left with her.

I might never know what was going to happen.
