Chapter One. The one they call demon slayer
Cassandra rushed home as fast as she could, she knew she was gonna be late for dinner but she wanted to get there faster. She decided to call home so that Davante would know she was late. She toke out her cellphone as she ran and quickly dialed the number. She put the cellphone to her ear waiting for him to pick up.

“ Jenkins residence, this is Davante speaking.”

“ Davante I am so sorry but I am gonna be late, I had 4 demons to fight today.”

    Davante sighed but replied.

“ Its alright Madam Cassandra, also I am going to enroll you in a school as well.”

    “ WHAT?”

Cassandra jumped over a fence and kept on running.

    “ Your kidding, right dude?”

“ I never kid and you know that Madam Cassandra! You are going into high school next year and you have never put a foot in a public school!”

“ Ugh! But why now? Hang on I'm about to knock on the door.”

Cassandra made it in time to the mansion where she had lived. It wasn't a mansion just a really big house. She knocked on the big doors and Davante opened the doors for her. He did not look pleased with her at all. Davante gave whistled and Cassandra magically changed into her evening gown. She sat down at the table where there was pizza, it was still warm. The two sat in awkward silence then Davante finally answered her.

“ Because you are soon going out into the world once you finish high school and I think you may need some friends when you are done.”

“ You have a point there, it is kinda lonely here in with only you and Marle for company. But what about demon slaying? My “friends” might get in the way!”
“ You don't have to tell them about you being a demon slayer, they can find out when the time is right, like if you are attacked at school or something.”

“ If you just jinxed me I will cut you Davante.”

“ Well you best get to bed, you finished your pizza and you have your first day of your school tomorrow! Try not kill anyone please Madam Cassandra?”

She sighed a little bit. “ Fine, I promise.”

Davante clapped his hands in glee. “ Excellent! Your school uniform will be up stairs waiting for you when you wake up.”

“ Thanks Davante. Now good night.”

    “ Good night Madam.”

Cassandra got up from the table and started to go up stairs, her cat Marle followed her up the stairs. Marle was an odd cat because she had a golden coat and looked a lot like a lion. No one knows why. Cassandra entered her room, it wasn't much expect a king sized bed with drapes around it was in the middle. There was a computer that was sitting on a desk along with a lot of school papers on the side. Then there was the walk in closet she had for all of her clothing. Last but not least, was her grand keys piano with a viola, a cello, and bass sitting next to it. Cassandra's violin was sitting on the nightstand next to her bed, but her sword was right in the corner, waiting to be used again. Cassandra just got into bed, staring into space. Marle meowed and cuddled right next to her, stealing some of her warmth.

“ A public school huh? I wonder what that is gonna be like.”

Cassandra just got under the covers, and went to sleep.
