• Never Again

Never again will she be alone at night,

As she sobs into the pillow she holds tight.

Never again will she call you friend,

As she takes back the heart she must mend.

Never again will she think of you,

As some one else shows her a love so new.

Never again will you step on her heart,

As she tells herself her decision was smart.

You can't hurt her now that she knows,

She knows she wasn't at fault for the blows.

It was you that hurt what some one loves,

It was you that made her white as a dove.

She lies in a pool of blood with a note,

    You didn't kill her.

Yet you helped put that knife at her throat,

    And there was no cure.

You made her cry so don't pretend,

You never wanted to be her friend.

You tried to keep the heart she must mend,

You can't hurt her, never again.
