Molten metal oozing,
Down the face of time,
Distorted from original shape,
Dripping black lines fall into oblivion.
Cling to turning hands.
Don’t slip, have a tight grip,
Rewind, step back, run in reverse,
Travel through time, how did you get there?
Little girl on the banks,
Escape the shackles of seconds,
Plunge into fabulous wonderland,
Where moments mean nothing more than fantasy.
Spin forward the hands,
Meet riddling, confusing characters,
Grow large and small with mushrooms,
Journey through forests, whimsical, and timeless.
Weep not little girl
The grinning cat comes to help,
Beware the roses and cards that lead
You to the Queen of Heart’s deadly snare.
Watch the melting clock,
Hold fast to the turning hands,
Moving forward, relentlessly forward,
Run from Wonderland, without space or time.
Safe and sound,
Awaken under a shady tree,
Return with your sister to get your tea,
Aren’t you lucky that time moves forward?

- I like it! I never would have thought of relating Dali's melting clocks to Alice in Wonderland-very creative!
