• When we first saw your face...from afar, we knew you were our blessing, from the stars.
We watched your life blossom, and come to an end.We felt sorrow and pain..on God we depend.
You were so selfish, never saying goodbye.Happiness, you brought us, but more tears to our eyes.
We kept faith and hope, but our hearts were left black. The most used words, "Izayah...Come back!!"
So may your soul rest, in this world all alone. Cause there's always one place you'll be welcome, a place called "Home".
I remember...at your funeral...he sang "Be not afraid." But how can you leave, without a tear in your eye, on your cavalcade.
And on that note, you never looked back.
I remember at you great grandfather's funeral, we cried, for a life well lived.
But you perished so soon, and we linger on what could have been.
And we still linger, with emotions of regret.
We'll never get passed, the life you should have lived.
It's okay Izayah, we'll meet again. But we'll keep strong, after all...we're men.

(Quoted from my good friend Jamie Wechsler.)
"He was our Hope. He was our Faith. Now he's in our prayers."
