You laugh so you can cry
You live so you can die
You act fake to feel real
You hurt yourself so you can heal

Your blood runs in such way
Your veins tangle up; you can't say
Your eyes grow cold and dark
Your arms pull close, but you push so hard

You don't believe so you can have faith
You go away so you can stay
You hold tight to let go
You're so loved, but love you'll never know

Thx for all the comments! I really appreciate them! And yeah this poem touches me on a deep level too. I usually can't express what I want to EXACTLY how I want to, but this was one where I did. So simple, but full of meaning. Thx again! ^_^

this poem has secrets behind it. I write so very much like you. I understand what these opposites mean. It is kind of for example like: Being someone every knows but you don't know yourself. It made me think. It is really hard if your not a poet and your looking at poems like this, though...because those people are like: AH, that didn't make any sense and/or THAT WAS confusing. But yah, I give this a 4 of 5. Oh! and I think changing the title would be a good idea.
