My Broken Wings

• Description: Well we had an assighnment in class to write i haiku, concrete, or lyric poem most people chose haiku (because it was the shortest) taking the easy way out *shame* *shame* i do love haikus though but the ones they wrote i could think of in 10 seconds but some people had very good ones ANYWAY i did a concrete poem so originally the words were in the shape of a wing so as your reading you can just imagine that X3

I see now she doesn't need me, so i'll turn around and spread my broken winds. I'm still strong enough to get by, i can still make it far floating in the wind. I can fly across the sky with my broken wings, no one will ever tear me down and keep me from soaring through the sky. Now is my time to prove myself, show that i can still make it alone. I leap into the air and spread my broken wings. Im strong enough to climb the wind higher, and higher. Soaring across the sky, I'll make it one day.

This is a really nice poem! I like the words "I leap into the air and spread my broken wings." Its very inspirational!
