Letting Go

• Description: This is not one of my best but I haven't placed this one on the internet yet. It wrote this around the time I was going through a bad break up with one of my ex's. But if anyone had to break up with someone and they really didn't want to do it, I'm sure you have felt this way too.

Here I am in pain
Soaking up the rain
My tears starting to flow
It is hard letting go

I feel so alone
But I have to stand on my own
As much as I want to say no
It is time to let go

Time passes by
In the blink of an eye
But now it seems so slow
I have to let go

So many memories in my mind
I have to leave them all behind
I have to face my foes
So now I am letting go

I did like this poem, though the rhythem is a little off. however, as your discription explains, this isn't one of your best, so i'll go check out some of your other poems (if you submitted any others). But otherwise, good job! O really like your style, and hope you submit more! 5/5
