Which is it that’s overrated?
Peace is sweet but also dull,
War is thrilling but causes death,
Such things are inevitable.
So why is it that we must fight?
If war is just, but oh so cruel,
Peace is kind, but oh so blank,
What is war’s true intention?
History repeats itself,
War, peace, and war again,
An endless cycle of abomination,
All turns out to be the same.
So how cold are the hands of dynasty?
In the end, no one’s right,
There’s those who win, and those who fail,
But are the winners always right?
Ironic it is that the world never learns,
Spinning on the same orbit,
Rolling on the same path,
All is the same as past.
Predictions for the future come as ease,
Before the end of time,
Before it all comes to a close,
The world will go on as it has in the past.
War and peace will continue turn,
Blood will be shed,
Life will be born,
Nothing will ever change.

- This poem is all about the truth. History will probably repeat its self but we can change it if someone will just speak up. what i want to do is just tell the world off telling them that they're just destroying the world and they're selves faster which pisses me off. That's why when i grow up i don't want the world to not be like this.

- I don't believe this to be so. Like you say in the poem, its our fault, therefore we can change it. Its a simple choice between love and hate.

So true. The awful truth, but it's also just part of life. Like you said, the repeating cycle.
