I thought that I was the only one,

How dense I was.

I basically laid my heart out to you,
and you gave it away,
to the first skank that passed you by.

We talked for hours,
and hours,
didn't that mean anything to you?
I guess it didn't,
it did to me.

My heart was bruised before I met you,
but now,
it's shattered.
