Patterns and people
are two very different things
People are chameleons
and patterns are unique

A pattern can be a butterfly
or a pattern can be a bee
and people can be more like you
or people can be more like me

Patterns can be found in caves
or deep under the sea
and people can be more like rocks
or people can be more like trees

Patterns can be rough
or patterns can be nice
People can like fire
and others may like ice

I'm not like any of these people
I am myself alone
I'm not afraid to be myself
and I am never someone else at home

So laugh at me while you can
I know I'll end up on top
only because I wasn't afraid to be myself
for my personality, I forever fought

this poem is great but i think you could of used a more exotic vocabulary
unlike rhyming ice with nice. I think you could of used a more descriptive word other than nice.
