• There's an unmarked grave underneath an old oak tree,
In an abandoned graveyard in a small town in Tennessee...
No one grieves any more for the nameless little body buried there
He died so long ago there's no one left to care
He was a ravished little boy no one in town knew
And the police couldn't identify him when their investigation was through
But somewhere there was a mother who thought of a son she still loved
Who prayed every night to the good Lord above
That somehow there was a miracle and the boy had become a man
Who didn't remember who he was or how far from home he ran
Children do things that are dangerous and sometimes unwise as well
And there are twisted souls out there who want to put them through
    a living hell
By making them do things no child should ever have to do
Only to kill them to silence a witness when their sick fantasies are through
The death of the little unknown boy is just one sad case
Killed so sadistically by something that thought it was a member of
    the human race
And it's a shame his mother never knew her son was buried under that
    old oak tree
In an abandoned graveyard somewhere in a little town in Tennessee
