• A whisper echos in her ear,
    Saying all the things she's always wanted to hear.
    Sixteen and "all grown up",
    Nothing she does is ever enough.

    All these women she tries to imitate

    Slowly she begins to eat less and less.

    Sinking into depression and sorrow,

    So she finds a knife and begins to cut.
    She can feel the painful happiness inside her gut.
    Slowly she carves deeper and deeper.
    Then thinks to herself "Ha! This cut's a keeper!"
    Her world begins to fade
    As she falls into the bed that she has made.
    Slipping away into the darkness she goes.
