• Gift or CURSE

    A dream
    A curse of the mind
    Or a gift of the heart

    Little reality shows
    Most fantasies and what your mind perceives

    Yet instead of fantasies
    It could be horror or hell

    So
    Is it a gift…?
    Or a curse…?

    Some see hell,
    Murder
    And death

    While others see fairytales
    Fantasies
    And love

    So again…
    Gift?
    Or curse?

    Would one prefer to flee to a dream?
    Live there instead of reality
    Or stay in the life they have
    And never look back for a dream

    I doubt it.

    Dreams are where your mind lives,
    Off of hopes,
    Desires and fate

    Many I bet would prefer to live in a dream
    Then face the hellish horror of reality

    So again and again
    Gift or curse?

    Were dreams made to taunt us of what we not have?
    Of what we really want yet can never receive
    Are we to dream in our fantasy minds then turn back to damn reality

    Why, oh why is this so
    All I want to know,
    A lovely gift or a damn curse
