Americans are celebrating
Independence Day;
Every pyrotechnic’s
Favorite holiday.
We’ve been cooking all day,
Since dawn’s early light.
After the feast,
We’ll light up the night.
The sky set ablaze
By rockets’ red glare
Don’t let the burn ban
Spoil the affair.
Sparklers, Roman Candles,
Black Cats too,
Just be careful
They don’t set fire to you
An ember in the grass
Turns the field to ash.
A spark on the home
Burns all you’ve ever known.
So everyone be careful
This Independence Day.
Eat, drink, be merry,
Enjoy the grand display.

(7/4/09) Yes, it's the 4th of July and Yes I wrote something about it. I wanted it to be in red, white and blue but of course you can't see the white so i went with dark red instead. Oh well, enjoy ^^.
p.s. If you're not going to rate fairly then don't rate at all <.< - Date: 07/04/2009
