Pain... What is pain?
I am only six foot flesh.
This chemical runs through my veins,
Endorphins make my world mesh.

Thoughts... What are thoughts?
Are they hiding in my brain?
Black memories and taint beliefs
Derail my mental train.

Drives... What are drives?
What is this motivation that you speak?
Someone wanting something
So much, something when they're weak.

Faith... What is faith?
Is it just another thought?
You say it drives you when in pain,
Is mine hiding or is it lost?

Questions only questions,
Only questions are found in life.

Life... What is life?
Is it a gamble in the dark?
If all are all worth living,
When does the living start...

Time... What is time?
When does my time run out?
Clocks ticking in procession,
Is that what the ends about?

An end... What is the end?
At the end whats the last line?
A lie, a note, an anecdote,
The story of my life?
... Well I guess I'll end this with
Goodbye.
