READ IT FROM START TO FINISH ALL THE WAY THROUGH
READ IT FROM START TO FINISH ALL THE WAY THROUGH- ITS JUST A POEM, BUT ITS EVERY PART IS IMPORTANT TO THE POEM ITSELF. NO SKIPPING LINEZ PLEASE!
You: By Loki
I saw you out of the corner of my eye that day,
It was at that moment I knew.
I needed you.
I wanted you.
My body ached and struggled through the pains,
and the strains,
Without you in my life.
In fact, as each night went by, I found myself thinking,
Of just how hard it was to sleep without you.
It's only been a few weeks since I saw you there,
It was as if you were showcasing yourself to every person,
Every stranger who walked by-
Only so I could be the one to walk away with you.
And it seemed so perfect.
And it was.
Having you in my room with me,
Feeling my body against you,
The magic we make.
As I take my hand to you-
And slowly press in.
Waiting, testing to see if I hear you groan-
Like every other that has been here in your place.
But you don't.
You don't make a sound.
You don't move an inch-
And all I can hear is the wind against the house,
cutting against the dead silence of the room.
You make me curious.
Why you don't react like the other's to my touch.
Why you don't groan and screech when I push my fist into you..
You never do.
It makes me curious,
Or the next-
I'll come home from work-
Only to find you,
Waiting for me-
And I'll take the knife from last nights dinner-
And I will carve into you like an experiment.
I will take my hands,
both of them,
And feel you like no one has before.
And I will know why.
I will know.
And when it all is said and done,
I will sit next to you-
And I will cry at what you have cost me.
They say curiosity killed the cat,
But now I say the cat threw away,
An amazing memory foam mattress
