    glimmering off the ocean
    a beautiful sight to behold
    yet so sad, for you know that it is only a matter of time
    before the moon leaves
    and the sun rises
    but you are the guardian at night
    we don't appreciate you like the sun
    we sleep while you roam
    we roam while you sleep
    maybe once in a blue moon
    we might stay and roam while you watch
    and encourage our antics to disrupt the focus
    to put a ripple in the night life
