• A family of secrets,
    a family of lies.
Everyone here has something to hide.
    Some hiding money,
    some hiding tears.
A family who tucks away their own fears.
    Accusations of drugs,
I ask, where is the trust?
    Drinking and smoking,
    raised my a drunk.
    Who would have thunk?
    Daughters depression,
    daughters who thieve.
    Brothers who thieve,
    brothers who drink!
THIS is my family yet no one would think.
A family of misfit ******** ups.
A family who leads their lives.
    Carrying guilt's.
    Carrying lies.
A family who's bond has died...
    Shuffled around,
    house to house.
    Neither I'd call my home.
'Cause either way I'm all alone.
    Neither is better.
    Neither is worse.
    This is my gift.
    Yet this is my curse.
    A dad who's always drinking,
a dad who's deep in debt.
    A mom who's always drinking,
a mom I can not trust.
    Not ever.
    Not yet.
    But do either ever notice?
    The papers on the floor?
    With stories of her hurt.?
    No. They ignore.
Or how their son is always out.
    NO!
    This is my family
    Blind as a bat,
as we put up our act.
    So come one,
    come all.
    To our mascaraed ball.
    And bring all your secrets,
    bring all your lies.
And wear a mask. 'Cause everyone hides...
