So many things await the hour
Of dream's sweet bliss.
Under camouflage of darkness
Is the demon's fight amiss?
The fight of the century
Lies not in bloody field,
But only in our hearts and minds
And thus our fates are sealed.
We wish for gold and glory
And question not the price,
Shedding all our morals
Giving in to avarice.
But give me back my demons
Whom you suppressed with fear
You covered them with darkness
And laughed at all their tears.
For under illumination they were always right
Dreaming "darkling demons" ?
Or secret angels of light?
The fight of a century
Lies not on bloody field

Description:
More of my cryptic mumbo-jumbo and religious psychological nonsense put into a semi poetic form. What can I say, I took AP english through out my high school career. It rubs of on you.
Anyway, it really doesn't matter what I say the thing is about. The beauty of poetry is that for each person who reads it, there is a slightly different translation.
By the way, please rate, it is highly appreciated! - Date: 08/12/2011
