Ghosts about terrorizing everyone.
Fear not they merely judge
For nothing real is part of lie
But the naivety of truth,
Bleak and tried,
But never understood through the owner's eye.
The toxic p***k of the needle
Demands full attention
You must know the importance of hate
For without it, the ghosts escape
Without the ghost happiness prevails
And with this truth,
Bleak and tried,
We understand through our own eye.
Shocking, the ghosts about.
Electrifying the silent night.
Offer sedation in acceptance.
The contract reigns true.
Bleak and tried,
But ultimately, a lie.
- Title: Buying Happiness
- Artist: Tagga
- Description: A poem that I wrote to illustrate the philosophy that happiness is the cause of sadness. The main example (the ghosts) are the people you know and connect with on social networks, showing false happiness to engage the sadness.
