• Life and death are like sunrise and sunset.
In the dawn, the sun is bright and young,
And slowly it passes through the sky.
Some seasons it stays longer, and others, passes by.

When sunset comes, the sun has seen many things.
It has known people, good and bad, love and tragedy,
In it's journey it's seen family, it's seen despair and joy,
And it's known the tender moments of a quiet afternoon.

The sun has seen the smiles on the faces of those it loved,
And tears too, for in sorrow and in joy, there are many.
But of all the sights the sun has seen, the hearts that it has touched,
It is love that makes that sun so bright.

And love does not require nearness,
    One can love from afar,
And even when those who love are apart,
    They're still within our heart.

And inevitably as time demands-the sun will set,
    But it's important to recall,
    The sun never truly dies,
    It's merely moving on.

To new travels, new adventures, new places to explore,
And all the love it carries, it will carry evermore,
So do not sorrow at the sunset,
Remember that it is not the end.

    Those we love we'll carry,
In our hearts, our thoughts, our memories,
Until they day our own sun sets,
    And we're together again.
