• The last piece of the puzzle
Could not make the puzzle whole
It did not fit in with all the rest
With a warbled interlocking prong and goal

And while the puzzle was unfinished
And felt the pain of that gaping hole
It wasn't the last piece it missed
It was the completion it would never know

The last piece that could not fit
Feeling the pain no other could cope
    Fractured its own heart
Just to keep the strength to show:

    A single piece of puzzle
Yet an outcast, is more whole
Than entire world of finished puzzles
With no relation to make them grow

    So here’s to the outcasts
Although they are wary to interlock
    Together they are tougher
Than all the completed puzzles are apart
