• His eyes were dark as midnight,
    His breath of evening air.
    He spoke of frightening creatures,
Who bid him and lingered there.

    A cavern in the darkness,
    A night without form.
    Cold, unforgiving.
    Not inviting, not warm.

He told me to step forward,
    And commanded me a kiss,
And when he pulled me close,
    I just couldn't resist.

His lips were as cold as glaciers.
    His hands like fallen snow.
I swear to you I hated him,
But I just couldn't let go.

    Ensnared in arms,
I felt my breath sucked away.
    A prisoner to his love,
    My morals left to decay.

    I dropped to my knees,
    Bowing my heavy head.
    My will had disappeared,
And was replaced with his instead.
