• The Lonely Wolf

    Once there was a wolf
A wolf and his pack that led on for years
As the pack grew one wolf was left out
Left out as if he was forgotten about.

He strayed away trying to forget
Trying to forget all the times they had
All the things they had done
All the things they worked out
    This wolf was kind hearted
He was easy going and nice
And he was always there for others
So why was he left out?

    Now that he is alone
    He howls at the moon
    Longing for a friend,
    Longing for someone
As if that’s to much to ask?

Longing for someone to talk to
The more he thought the lonelier he got
    Not knowing where to go
He led on by himself not knowing what to do
He is a pack of one
    And one he shall remain.

He howls at the moon every night
    Knowing what is lost
    What he had left behind
    Hes alone, hes afraid,
    Not knowing where to go

He may howl at the the moon
    On cold winter nights
But hes still there for those who need him
    Every morning, noon or night

    So this wolf stands alone
As he howls at the moon
    But he will stand strong
    Every cold bitter night
    Cause this wolf is alone

    And that he shall remain.
As he howls at that moon
    Alone and afraid.
