• Rainy Blues

    In a cold shower, melancholy
    There blows a nostalgic breeze.
The mist left behind after heavy rain
Such blue, dreary days most find a pain
Are days I find only relaxing.

The sadness reflected in puddles galore
Inches of raindrops, a steady downpour
Silent gazes as dropping are stains
Droplets of cold water, from numerous rains

    In a wet drizzle, serenity.
    Such a calm before storm.
    In the sun's embrace
    While the horizon has worn
    A rainbow of colour
    To celebrate rain.

    Rainy blues, so pastel
    Sweet scent in the air
    Aftermath so peaceful
    The rain's sadness barely there
