There's a girl in my suite that has mentally handicapped nephews, and loving them as she does, she requests that people don't say or tease "retards" in her presence, and is understandably offended when someone does. I never really did to begin with [but who hasn't laughed at Timmy or Jimmy on South Park? Who I ask you?!], and I make a point not to do it around her.
I have been teased and humilated over the question of my sexuality [and I still haven't really figured out what I want yet...], and I have had many friends who've undergone the same. As such, I don't like the word "f*****t". I REALLY don't like that word. So, I have requested that people don't say or tease "fags" in my presence, and, when done to a certain degree, I become offended by it. However these little shits I live with can't seem to care enough to humour me on this one. In fact, they're yelling it outside of my door right now. I've asked them to stop, but they don't. When I glare, they give a fake f*cking "Opps LOL I sry RLY! SRY!!!1!1!!!"

I thought living with a group of people would be easier than living alone. I thought that, given the only times when I really enjoyed hanging out with girls was when I was in a group, that living in a suite would be better than living with just one girl, or by myself.
