~-If you want to disagree with a post,
reply using good grammar and spelling, and avoid O RLY, ROFL, STFU, WTF, you get the idea.
~-If you don't like a flamer,
report them if it's bad enough, or just flat out ignore them. This place is digital. These people are not and will not directly affect your life, so why waste your time and emotions on them [anger is an emotion, by the way].
~-Disagreeing with someone, or misinterpreting their posts, does not make them a b***h.
It means there's a difference in opinion, or just a breakdown of communication. Try clarifying. If you're not sure what someone thinks or means, and/or you want them to explain, then ASK. It's simple. Very simple.
~-Read the Stickies.
It needs no explanation, but I can't stress this enough.
~-GDers have every right to protect their GD [If we don't, who will? Mods? HA!].
If you see an offensive thread, report it, if it doesn't belong in the GD, request to have it moved, if you don't like it or it's really just that stupid then DON'T POST IN IT. It's so simple! Every time you post, you renew that thread in the GD circulation list, and thus prolong its life. If you don't like it, then just let it die.
I say this because it drives me mad when I see people post like crazy to someone who's thread is a repeat, or just in the wrong forum.
I do this because I like to argue with people. I enjoy pushing buttons. But you don't have to let me-you can just ignore me, that is an option. I do these things just to annoy you people, but ignore me, don't give me ammunition to use against you, and I'm powerless. What can I do? It's hard to argue when no one argues back.
It's just plain logic.
