Saying I love you yet it means nothing
You make it seem like I'm just bluffing
These fantasies of you being near
Quicken the fall of each crying tear
I could reach for you yet only grasp air
Is it too much to ask for you to be there?
I realize only now I'm living off of dreams
Because you're there, it's where I want to be
Forgive me for longing for you
