burning_eyes I openly wonder if every game that comes from Japan needs to have dual channel? I am not against it, just stunned when certain games that get a release date to only succumb to this dual channel addition. I mean really I am sure most people in the USA play these games for the DUAL CHANNEL right ... NNOOOOO! twisted I will concede to that: yes its great to hear the original voice talent but I don't understand a word of it! mrgreen eek There I said it. I don't understand the japanese language I am fluent in 2 but not japanese. But I have no less respect for the place most of favorite diversions come from. Its hard enough for some of those games to reach our shores, sometimes years go by before they get released here.
This is at the heart of the matter. I am playing Knights in the Nightmare as of present but I would be replaying Phantom Brave on the Wii if were not for the last minute Dual channel add on. emo But I am happy because I would have missed out on Knights which is really terrific game. It does not have dual channel and its not missed. dramallama
To amend this whole thought I came across a kotowari post about PSP persona title and its treatment past present. It really made me think about what I wrote, I have no problem with Japanese vocal tracks in the absence of good voice talent for the English ones. I prefer it, if it means we get to play the games sooner. Better to not mess with a well crafted game than tweak it forever.
Open rant that needed unloading so here was a great place to put it! Filed under the not so secret Gaia account of 888spores.
