heh, yesterday was quite interesting. i'm just gonna write out the conversations with my folks :p

Dad
My folks are seperated so i rarely see my dad nowadays, but last time i saw him, i couldn't stop talking about Sam. Last time I saw my dad was around Thanksgiving, but we talk through emails mostly but for some reason lately he hasn't been getting my emails so he called and asked how i was.....and then....

dad: "So, what're your holiday plans?"
me: "well, mom's saying she wants to go to florida and spend christmas there, so i don't know what my plans are really but on dec. 23 i'm going over to sam's place to meet with her folks there"
dad: "heh, you two getting engaged?"
me: "heh, noooo ^^;;;;"
dad: "you're not turning into another connie are you?"

Connie's my sis. she's bi as well, though i think she just came out for attention purposes.

me: "heh ^^;;;;;;; umm, i saw sam's aunt last weekend"
dad: "i said, you're not turning out to be like connie, right?"
me: "umm....sam's aunt was nice, we played cards.."
dad: "Christina?!?!"
me: "heh, heya ^__^;;;;;;; "

my dad went on to say that he wasn't ready for this news, asked how long me and sam have been together, i told him about 2 weeks, then, heh, i loved the way he worded it, he asked:

dad: "so how long have you known you were of this particular persuasion?"
me: "I've always known, i just couldn't tell you cuz i knew it would trouble you."
dad: *sighs*
me: "I'm still gonna make ya proud dad"
dad: "yeah...well.....i wasn't calling to hear this so we'll talk about this again later"
me: "alrighty :p "
dad: "to be continued, okay?"
me: "sure thing dad :p "

so now my dad knows that i'm gay and that i have a girlfriend ^__^

Work
as some of you know, i work at gamestop and i'm the only girl that works there so i get hit on alot and really, it's just hilarious really :p so last night, everybody was really goofing off :p and we were just talking about random things and such and well .... :p

quentin: "so can i ask you a personal question?"
me: "yeah, sure"
quentin: "you have a boyfriend?"
me: "no"
quentin: "why not?"
me: "because i have a girlfriend"
giancarlo: "so what're we suppose to do with these games.......wait what?!"

Mom
Now my mom, before i told her, had always teased me about me and sam. i'm soooo ******** sure she knew that something was going on. she knew sam since she came over once in a while, hell, last sunday me and sam went to my mom's church together :p ...however she didn't take it too well. i'd write out the conversation but i don't remember it too well. just bits and pieces since i told her right after work and it was around midnight by then.

me: "heh, guess what i told daddy today?"
mom: "what? biggrin "
me: "heh, you might wanna sit down"
mom: *she sits*
me: "heh, ...well.....i came out to daddy when he called. told him that i've been dating sam"
mom: "WHAT?!!?"
me: "he actually took it betterthan i expected, but said we'd have to talk about it more" *i go to sit down and eat*
mom: "i didn't think you'd be like connie"
me: "i'm not, this just happens to be a part of me"
mom: "but i didn't raise you this way"
me: "i didn't say you did"
mom: "your life's gonna go downhill now, you know?"
me: "so be it. it's still my life and i'm not gonna lie to myself just to please you"
mom: "you know daddy's gonna blame connie and me for this"
me: "heh, actually he took the news better than you"
mom: "but why did you have to tell him"
me: "b/c i'm not gonna lie to my dad, hell, you know i'm more honest with my dad than you"

she pretty much stayed silent the rest of the night. ignored me to the fullest but i was just happy that i told her. don't know how tonight's gonna turn out but i'm gonna try to answer whatever questions she has cuz with my family....i'm pretty much all they can rely on. my sis is a flippin retard, my bro's kinda out doing his own thing and doesn't really keep in contact with my family unless my mom calls him. so i've been doing my best by being the ideal child for them, cuz i love my folks and i just wanna make them proud no matter what. ...it's just.....i do so much for my folks i felt that i needed to do something for myself. i hardly ask for anything from my folks so, ...i know telling them the truth would be hard and difficult for them but.....i'm so tired of lying to them just to please them.

....so [/rant] :p i'm at college atm, i'll post pics of sam later when i get home :p

also, britt and sam (my cousins :p ), if you read this, don't tell your folks :p you know it'll just cause some tension between me and them :p i rather they hear it from me rather than you guys telling them, k? ^_^ and your christmas presents are on there way, i just gotta wrap them and mail em to you ^__^
