EARTHQUAKE IN JAPAN!!

I was discussing the apparently fore-shadowing earthquake with my friend Mashiro-desu on here a couple of days ago. I was hoping that was that with the earthquakes, but NO!!!

I was awoken suddenly this morning at exactly 8am by my British friend on the telephone. She was screaming that there was a quake in Japan and wanted to know if my family was okay. I assured her my family is Korean (in Korea) but that I would let her know.

What followed was hours and hours of updating the official Japan Quake thread in the International forum with the latest news from the BBC, Twitter, NHK, CBS, and NBC, until they made an official Japan Quake Forum in the main forum.

Of course, I was also talking a lot to my friend Mashiro-desu, who loves PaRADEiS as much as me (well, with a name like "Mashiro-desu"...) and indeed loves J-rock as much as me. We were discussing which J-rockers are safe, which are injured, etc. Which spurred me to make a thread about J-rockers who are confirmed safe or injured (or in peril sad ) in the music international sub-forum and then I made one about J-artists in general in the official Quake forum, which now includes Korean artists and is starting to include Asian celebrities in general who were in Japan at the time. There is some minor harrassment about "why do you care about anime at a time like this?" and I'm just like, "what??? There's people who make-- I have more important things to do right now than argue!"

I'm going to find another thread in the Japan Quake forum that is serious about updating about what is going on and continue to help them update after I eat. I haven't eaten at all today.

I am also currently awaiting news from my friend Angel_Baby_4, whom I've known since 2004, who is living on a military base in Japan...
