stare Okay, so insomnia rears its ugly head once again this week. It is now officially 6:30am and I have yet to go to bed. Something tells me that having that extra cup of fully caffeinated coffee tonight was a very, very bad idea.
You know, I really should know better by now. Drinking more than one cup of coffee a day when I've had a decent night's sleep is the equivilant of giving a 7-year-old child a bag of chocolate-covered expresso beans and having them eat the entire thing. (Please, if you've never witnessed a child hyped up on chocolate-covered expresso beans, don't attempt it. You are better off leaving such things to your imagination. It is not pretty)
So, during the hours that I have been awake when I should be sleeping, I've rediscovered this site. I also found out that my friend nytshad also uses the site frequently (Hi nytshad!) which is cool. I've also been working on my drawings and story board for the manga I am planning. Unfortunately, I keep changing my mind about characters and what their powers are (It's a fantasy manga, and I'm trying to keep the main characters from becoming too powerful). And since I keep changing my mind about the characters, my plot gets affected, and then I'm right back where I started at the beginning. Still, it's come a long way from where it started and it has definately transformed. What was once a light, romantic comedy in a fantasy setting somehow transformed into this really dark, gothic fairytale involving vampires, demons, dark-elves and a war between light and dark where the light-side is actually represented as the bad-guy. It also involves friends getting embroiled in opposing sides of the war and what happens when they discover they are on opposing sides.
Yeah, like I said, it's become pretty dark and the main focus is on the vampires, demons, and dark elves that make up the dark court. I guess my main problem with the story is that I have yet to figure out what it was that started the war between the two sides. I mean, at this point, both sides have all but forgotten why they're fighting (only a few are old enough to actually remember the reason why), but I still need to establish what it was that started the war for the prologue.
Ideas, anyone? I'm open for suggestions at this point!

The rantings of a slightly insane pixie
As the title states, these are the rantings of a slightly insane pixie. Beware dragons, witches, gargoyles, and, of course, look out for those darn fairies! (I should mention that they tend to take the strangest things...)
