• As I rush home from school
    and I turn on T.V.
    and I sit down to watch the news
    The weather man said
    That the snow is is ahead.
    To prepare for the X-mas time blues..

    I run out the door
    to see if it's true
    and I look up at the sky
    And watch the little white specks
    that land on my deck
    I smile and I sigh

    I've been waiting all year
    Just to see the snow
    Now I want to bawl
    Because too soon it'll be gone
    another night, another dawn
    But now, now is the first snowfall...
