- The scythe, however, represents Rem's duty as a shinigami. Kira never had a scythe, and yet on the first manga cover, he appeared with one. To reiterate, the scythe simply shows the power of a death god, (not to mention it goes well with the color scheme at that), and also supports as filler for Rem's other hand

- Yes, I would imagine some people would say to loose the "horsemen scythe and the purple stuff" but It just seems too plain having a rem cosplay being strictly white and grey. My original intent for the purple was because Rem's hair is really Grey and Purple, but I could only get one hue of color. I figured the purple "Stuff" might add to the beauty of the avitar itself rather than the cosplay.
