• The boy walks silently and slowly into the room, walls painted in black as if in mourning for 'her'. Why was it that life could be so easily destroyed? How could a mere accident could kill such a sweet, innocent girl? Here he was, standing in that same girl's room. It was hard for him to believe that he would force himself to walk into here. It contained so many memories of the two of them together. He gripped onto his left hand, trying to stop it from shaking. He forced a half-smile on his face that quickly vanished as he gazed on the books stacked on top of each other. He always had found her reading during her free-time. It felt as if she should be right on her bed, reading away as if nothing happened. He turned his gaze toward the bed as something on it caught his eye. Picking up a piece of paper partly tucked away in one of the books scattered on her bed, the boy began to read the scribbled words that were scrawled on the old, coffee-stained paper:

    Our Mortal lives are fragile,
Though we often take it for granted.
The loss of our beloved, our friends, is heartbreaking,
But, somehow, we must gather the pieces of our broken hearts,
That have shattered on the floor.
If my life is to be cut short,
    I have a few wishes...

I want to become the rain,
So you can hear me tapping on your window,
Telling you that I have come to see your face.

I want to become the moon,
So if you wish to see me,
All you have to do is look up in the sky,
And always know that I'm there,
Even if you cannot see me.

I want to become the wind,
For you to be able to hear my voice,
Whispering your name in your ear.

If I'm to lose my life,
I would like these wishes to come true,
So you know I'm always here for you~.

It was almost as if she already knew. His shaky hands weren't able to keep hold of the paper so he quickly dropped the paper and watched it float onto her bed. 'Tap tap tap' The boy looked toward the window and realized that it has started raining. He walked outside and looked up into the sky. He smiled for the first time in a while, ever since she has been gone. He silently whispered into the sky as he could feel his own warm, betraying tears mix with the raindrops that touched his cheek.

"Your wishes have already come true..."
