• As the rain fell slowly like tears landing softer than snow on the cold hard road beneath
my feet, a smile spread slowly across my pale face yet a single tear escaped, falling on the
floor almost as softly as the icy droplets of rain that had fallen before.
I looked up at the sky, allowing a droplet to fall on my face, the smile had vanished and
more tears had worked their way in, i concentrated on the moon above as i sank to my knees.
It was the same shade of blue as it was the last time i had been here three years ago, i had
hoped never to have to come back to this city, not after what had happened, but fate seemed
to see me here much sooner than i would have ever imagined.

As I said, three years had passed since i had last been here, This city was one of the few
I could really remember, I'm a traveler you see, not by my own choice though.
Times had become hard and most people either died or ran away, those were the only options
anyone had left when they came....

I'll start from the day I arrived here, rather than boring you with the story of how I ended
up being a traveler and all that.

It was snowing softly, a nice kind of snow though, not the really cold kind, the soft, pretty
    kind.
There wasn't much wind but what little wind there was felt nice passing by me, i loved the
wind, sometimes i would just sit and listen to it whistling in my ear softly and brushing
past my long white hair, I was born with naturally white hair and slightly purple eyes-
as strange as it was i liked it, it was what made me different, even if others didn't accept
me because of it, I wouldn't care.

I'd been traveling for about a week now and had seen no sign of any cities, well not ones
    that were alive anyway.
Most cities by this time had been wiped out by the outbreak of the mutants.
Incase you're wondering what I mean It'll all be clear soon enough.

Experiments were being conducted on humans to try and create the ultimate fighter, they
tried many different things to acheive this, but one project took it to far, they deceided
to fuse both animals and humans together.
The result was not good. within days many died on the operating tables during theese
    experimentations.
Within a year overa hundred people had died.
The real trouble started when one of the experiments escaped, a human X wolf man by the name
of Lu, after he escaped they sent people to catch him and failed, Lu had once been a nice
person, but due to his new circumstances his genes began to mutate and he began to have get
a lust for the taste of meat- humans to be frank.
He began attacking the centre where he was engineered so to speak, letting some of the
    others free.
They cleaned out city after city not stopping until there was no one left.
Lucky for some like us the wind was on our side and had carried tales upon it's airy breath,
whispering them to those who remained.
Small populations managed to thrive and fight them off temporarily.
These creatures were the ultimate weapons, like the scientists had wanted.
Only they would not, or rather could not obey, why, no one will ever know.

So here i was, A traveler, i move around to try an avoid them, well after my long journey i
saw a city in the distance, i started to walk fast then broke into a run, raising the small
knife i carried incase any of the mutants were there.
"Finally! maybe there will be some people here!" i yelled as I ran towards it, coming to a
quick halt right infront of the first of the tall buildings in the concrete jungle ahead.
my expression was blank as i looked at the building, there was a chunk missing and vines had
begun to grow up the sides, gradually taking over the whole side.
"another dead city..." i sighed and walked on slowly, hoping that I would see another living
    person other than a mutant.
