• "Look at me and tell me that everything is going to be okay. That's what I thougt, you can't. Right now, I can tell that something is very wrong. You're acting very despondent as if you have just seen a ghost. Maybe you have, maybe you have seen a ghost. The ghost of your lies. What have you done, something to ruin my life!?" It was then that I turned around to see a cold-blooded killer with a kife in his hand. I ran and ran in hopes of escape, but nothing seemed to work. "What the hell were you thinking!?" I said in tears and rage. "I am about to die and all you can do is stand there!" "You're right, I'll get something to hold him back with." I was appalled right then and there that James would have the guts to help after what I did.
When he returned, I remembered, seeing him in that mist of the night, that what I had done caused all this. I spread a rumor about him that caused so much trouble. His parents got a divorce, he got expelled, and he lost his friends. "James, I'm sorry!" I shouted in horror as he took the ax and swung at the killer. He missed, so he went back a second time, looked back at me and said, "Me too."
What happend next is something I will never forget, James killed the murderer, and came running to me. Being in this forest alone, just the two of us, was romantic and scary all at the same time. The crush of my life (James) kissed me. He said to me,"I love you."with the most serious face I had ever seen. "What was that for?" James replied, you'll find out soon enough.
Two days later, my mother called me into the kitchen with a weary voice. I looked at the TV screen and saw the headline: "Boy Killed In Car Accident". Tears filled my eyes as I ran and ran, but I could not escape from sadness.

The truth, it was all my fault.
    The truth, he's gone.
