• "It feels good," Shionna said, breaking the silence in vehicle, "to know that all of my parents' murders have been avenged. I'm happy, too, that my race got its revenge."

Derrick smiled at her. "I'm glad that Atsume and Luke will never be forgotten. It's good to know that they raised such a sweet and loyal daughter."

Shionna smiled. Her eyes transformed back to their black color, her hair faded back into its dark reddish black color, her tail contracted and disappeared from her body, and her claws shortened. She finally felt the rage melt away.

"I've got a present for you once we get home," Derrick said, a smirk appeared on his lips.

Just by the smirk on his face, Shionna knew there was something sinister behind that smirk. She knew that whatever it was, she wanted it. Anything from him is a good thing. I love him so much. She told herself.

The couple arrived at the townhouse shortly afterward.

Derrick entered first, taking Shionna by the hand. As soon as she was in, he closed the door and locked it behind him. He grabbed at Shionna and pulled her to him. "I'm ready to love you." He whispered.

Shionna smiled, having wanted his love since she first saw him. "Yes," she said, "me too."
