• I screamed. I kicked. I cried and screeched, and i knew that the people told me the truth. i should have known something like this would happen, the darkness always creep up incomplete light, i roared in my head to keep from feeling complete death overwhelm me. the dark of the night took on a whole different turn. i never knew that i'd be fearing my savior.
    three hours earlier

the dark was intoxicating, reaching out and pulling my arms into the fear inside me. i looked around the darkest corners of my room and knew there was nothing to fear, but still i clutch the rim of my sheets. I heard a rapid pattering in the walls to my left and right, making my head spin. it was the dark i feared the most. I felt a strong feeling of eyes tracking me and smiling with satisfaction as fear welled over me.
But it frowned sadly as i was lifted onto a dream boat, being soaked in salty spray from the ocean. I was home free.
" you should follow us the the island." a soft voice murmured, "we can give you the protection you need from the beasts in the dark. they are watching you, even in your sleep. dream until the ash of this world will-
the soft voice got carried of with the dream boat as i got hurtled into the icy water bellow. i heard a petrifying sound. I shot open my eyes to hear something like nails being scraped against a calk board. the loudest sound of pain and fear in every inch of my room was ringing in my ears. it was inches from my head, but yet across my room. every corner in my room was screaming in pain and white light soared through the windows and under the door. the window mourned under some unknown force until the glass of the window exploded across the room. i shielded myself with my sheets and blankets, and screamed along with the room.
I wished, prayed and thought in the shear hope that someone is watching me.
than i did something i never thought i'd do. "Someone save me!" i whispered into the shadows of my room. the light roared through every cell of my body, and that whisper became a raging waterfall, pushing away the light and its strange power.
suddenly i felt a fading feeling, far more relaxing than falling asleep. it felt like someone gently lifted me into there arms. and the light disappeared into the night.

I struggled to wake up. not the late-night-party kind of sore. a groggy, dazed but refreshing. I was in cold sheets, that seemed almost incredible after the heat of my blazing room. but the thing that scarred me was the darkness. this was nothing compared to to seemingly dark bedroom. there was no light. even the darkest corners was not as dark as this. it felt like the coal black like color from paper.
"enjoy your sleep?" a scratchy voice asked.
yeah, i thought but i raged myself to stay silent.
"thats good," the obviously man voice said, as if he could read my thoughts.
I tried to speak but nothing came out, my voice was not even moving. mute.
"you look very tired, need more sleep?"
    he could see me? blind.
I silently cried, hoping that it really was dark enough so he couldn't see me.
"please don't cry," his voice came to as close as upset as i think it could. "your in no danger. i brought you here so you didn't get killed, not to kill you."
killed, I thought as a feeling of panic pounded in my head.
I knew one thing that scarred me more then the shadows around me was the feeling of being watched, and now it was made a million times worse now that i have a stalker on my hands.
