• The wind blew across the South China Sea roughly, its horizon was overflowing with waves building up and slowing down as water dragged from the shore. The full moon shone down on the eastern coast of Hong Kong in its full radiance. As faded oriental music played in a house not far down inland from the shore, three men masked under the night sky pulled over their car and walked down the street ominously. While they stopped and stood on front of the door house laughter and joy from giggling girls and the bantering of drunken men could be heard. It was not an uncommon sight to see at a party, but they were looking for one special person in particular. One of the men nodded when his gaze locked upon Yiang Lings smiling face, the glimmer in her eyes suggested that of a content and happy young lady. Her silver glazed eyes seemed to entice anyone that passed by her. It was her 17th Birthday and everyone was celebrating that this young woman had made it so far in life without any hindrances. However, that soon would change. When the party ended everyone left and the inhabitants of the house locked the door. One of the men's austere expressions changed to that of a chuckle as he exited the car and motioned for the other two to follow. They pulled out their stun guns and charged it up to full power, knocking on the door. A voice from the other side of the door was laughing as if someone had forgotten a valuable item.
"I'll get it, father!" Yiang said and the door creaked open revealing three men. When a gun was pulled out she screamed. The men caught hold of her pressing a tissue with some kind of chemical onto her mouth and nose. She passed out and fell in the other black suited criminals grasp.
An hour later Yiang awoke on the floor of her house, smoke choked her lungs as she heard the cries of her parents. Feebly she tried to get up but her thin arms dropped her to the ground, her smooth black hair was like a birds nest of a mess. Her eyes dimmed and she stretched forth her hand when the bodies of her parents were dragged into a pile of burning wood. Biting her lip she sobbed and screamed as she managed to sit up weakly and tried to stand and run. What was happening? Why were these men doing this! The men cast their gaze upon the weak girl and smacked the edge of the gun on her head knocking her out. Liang never knew what hit her. The last thing she saw was fire growing bigger and she felt her body being thrown over a shoulder just when her eyes closed.
