• The sound snow crunched under a boys feet as he ran as fast as he could. In reality he had no idea where he was going, his feet just carried him as fast as possible. The farther he got away the less he remembered. It was a task just to remember his own name. Chizu. He repeated in his head.
He slowed infront of a house, it was strange he remembered nothing but the name, but somehow this place seemed like where he needed to be. He sat by the door and closed his eyes.
A few hours could have passed, or even a few minutes Chizu had no way to keep track off the time. When he heard a slight cough his eyes opened to see an older boy standing there. His ears were perked up with curiosity. His hair was black, and his eyes the same tone of blue Chizu's were.
"Who are you?" The older boy asked as Chizu struggled to remember his name.
"Chi...Chizu?" He questioned as he looked up at the boy wondering if he knew.
"How old are you?" He asked.
"I don't know." He said numbly. The boy stared eyes wide as he helped Chizu up.
"Come on." He said opening the door.
"Ritsuka? Your late." She said sounding angry when she saw Chizu she almost dropped to the floor infront of him.
"Ritsuka? Is that you. You look ten again." Her eyes welled up with tears.
"No mother. This is Chizu, he doesn't remember anything." Ritsuka explained. His mom didn't listen she just wrapped her arms around Chizu.
"My Ritsuka, my baby Ritsuka." She murmed. Chizu looked up at Ritsuka.
"My name is Chizu." He said numbly.

    4 years later

"Mother!" Chizu yelled as she slammed the door on him pushing him out into the cold air.
"Your not my son! I want my baby Ritsuka back!" She yelled as the words impacted Chizu, they had adopted him in purely because he looked like Ritsuka. Although Ritsuka treated him like a brother, their monther never did.
Chizu just stepped away from the door. He knew where to go, Ritsuka was always with Soubi and even though they didn't get along they cared about Ritsuka enough to try to.
He knocked on Soubi's appartment door, a couple minutes later Soubi opened the door with a suprised look on his face. Ritsuka popped up behind him a moment later.
"Chizu whats wrong?" Ritsuka asked Chizu stared up at his brother.
"Mother kicked me out again." He explained as Ritsuka nodded and Soubi moved by to let him in from the cold air. "She started yelling and saying she wanted her Ritsuka back." He explained as Ritsuka nodded, he went through that to but Chizu was much more emotional then Ritsuka.
"Can he stay here for the night?" Ritsuka asked Soubi hopefully. Soubi just nodded.
"Whatever you want." He said in his usual ordered tone of voice. Ritsuka nodded and Chizu sat on the floor.

The next morning Chizu walked by his home on his way to school to pick up his bag for his first day of school. He was excited it was his first day of seventh grade.
Walking into classroom 2-B he took a seat in the back of the class and watched as all the other kids met up with freinds and began talking and running around the classroom to greet there freinds. Chizu hadd accepted the fact that it was nearly impossible to make freinds with people.
The class settled down as the teacher walked in, it was odd to see a teacher with long hair and ears.
"Hello class i'm Shinonome- Sensi." She said smiling as Chizu thought back, he faintly remember Ritsuka saying something about her. "When i call your name please raise your hand." she said as she began reading off names. "Aoyagi Chizu." She yelled and looked at the name and smiled. "Are you related to Aoyagi Ritsuka by any chance?" She asked.
"Yes." I said simply as she smiled and went back to calling names.
School dragged on and like usual kids ignored him, and he just excepted that working by himself.
The bell gave one final echo as student poured out of the school, Chizu was the last to leave as he slowly shoved his books in his bags and tossed it over his shoulder.
Walking outside he felt weird walking past a pair of teenagers who seemed to be waiting outside.
"Are you Joyless?" They asked stopping Chizu.
"What?" He asked confused. "No Chizu." He said confused.
"Ah Ha! You are Joyless, come with us." They beckoned as Chizu stepped way.
    "No." He hissed at them.
"We know about your past." They said in a secductive way. Chizu stopped and stared at them eyes wide.
    "You do?" He asked hopefully.
"If you come with-" They stopped talking cause a moment later another voice intterupted.
"Don't listen to them Chizu." The voice warned as Chizu whipped his head around to see a guy who looked about 18, his hair was short and light brown and covered half his face, his eyes were an emerald green, and he was almost as tall as soubi. Chizu's eyes widened.
"Ayomi..." Chizu tailed off then looked startled. "Wait, how do i know you?" He asked.
"Because-" He stepped infront of Chizu and infront of the people wanting Chizu to come with them. "-I'm your fighter." He said looking back at him.
