Today father introdouced me to balthazar.his dark brown hair cureld freely, his hair was fairly long too.talking to him with my dad around was akward and quiet. I had a terrible cough today so it was verry dificult to talk to him and try to be polite at the same time. he did have his job to do so he left it was weird. I stared after him. not like the hogs my fater introduced to me , he was polite ,repectful, not rich, and shy like he had a secret no one was ever to know.He has me curious like a new born child.
the maids have been talking more and more about the disapearence they think it is some monster, here to pay us back for taking their land.I told them if it was a monster it would do a much beter job of running us ou by destroying our crop and making it imposible for us to harvest anything.they laughed and repied that, that would be no moster but some greedy man. monsters enjoy being disruptive and violent.
I still dont believe them but my father does so it is decided that i will not leave the house untill this "monster" thing is solved and untill my blasted cough leaves me. which will not happen i believe. this monster thing will not be solved and my cough will not leave me untill i am in a coffin in the palor for all to look at. I must go to bed now, father says i write too much for a proper lady of my age. the maids are getting frustrted too.
    Writting in you still,
    sally
