• The dead leaves of fall crunced under my feet as I fled through the darkened woods. The only sounds around me were that of my heavy breathing and the occasional night cricket. Pure fear coursed through my body as adrenaline pumped in my veins. I didn't know what I was running from but I knew I had to keep running.
"Gotta run, I gotta keep running..." On and on the thoughts raced through my head.
A disntinct crunch of leaves came from behind me. It was catching up. I let out a small gasp before I pumped my legs even harder. I had to keep running.
A ghost of a laugh reverberated around me. I was surrounded. There was no escaping. I was going to die. Ever so slowly my legs slowed down, till eventually I stopped running completely. I was going to die, so why bother running from it?
A dark shadow emerged from the dense forestry. The monster was huge. It was at least a good 2 feet taller than me. I couldn't see anything under the thick black cloak covering the thing. A small wimper escaped my lips before I had a chance to think about it. Another bone chilling laugh came from under the midnight cloak. The monster like my fear, no fed off my fear. The thing took another step closer. I couldn't see any feet, maybe it was a ghost after all. Another step, my breathing was hard and labored. My mind was screaming for me to run but I didn't see the point. The creature was going to catch up eventually. Another step, now it was so close I could smell it's rotting breath. A decayed hand lifted from under the cloak, as if it was going to grab my shoulder. Right before the thing could touch me I fell.
All around me I was surrounded by a blinding white light. I just kept falling, falling. I didn't know if I ever was going to stop. Just as that thought passed my mind I hit the floor.
"Ow" I said aloud as I rubbed my butt.
As I looked around me, I realized there was nothing there. Just white. It was like I was in a paralle universe.
"Hello!" I called out, the only answer I got was the echoing of my voice.
Something started to emerge from the ground, where ever that was. NO! It couldn't be, but it was...

My sister next to my room woke up to my screaming.

"Anna, Anna. Wake up it was just a dream," she tried to sooth me, "What was your nightmare about?"
I managed to gasp out two words before I laid down in shock, "Fuzzy...BUNNIES!"
